Metals/Plastics Engineer

Knowledge Strategies International, LLC specializes in metal machining and injection molded plastic parts. They are seeking a Metals/Plastics Engineer to design, develop, and optimize materials and processes for metals and plastics engineering, with a focus on new product development and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and optimizing materials and processes for metals and plastics engineering
• New product development
• Implementing and improving injection molding and metals machining processes
• Working with a focus on polymers and different raw metal materials to meet customer specifications and performance requirements
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outputs

Requirements:

• Proficiency in metals machining and injection molding processes
• Expertise in Plastics and metals Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for material and process optimization
• Using Lean management principles is an absolute requirement
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in remote, interdisciplinary teams
