DevOps Engineer, Mid

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Mid DevOps Engineer to develop and manage a container platform that meets client needs. The role involves using cloud technologies and container management software to address client challenges and improve their environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities
• Help develop container management software to solve clients’ toughest challenges
• Strengthen skills using the latest cloud technologies to improve client environments with current container software
• Support team in informing strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process
• Recommend resources that will help clients manage and securely adopt containers
• Gain DevOps skills and experience while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with containerization technologies
• 2+ years of experience with container orchestration platforms
• 2+ years of experience managing software deployments through CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with AWS or Azure
• Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions and applying basic principles, theories, and concepts
• Experience with OOP scripting or program languages
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of automation, programming and scripting languages, infrastructure automation, and microservices
• Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
• Top Secret clearance
