Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize Microsoft Fabric based data solutions, including lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks (Spark/PySpark), and semantic models.
Develop scalable data architectures aligned with modern lakehouse and medallion design patterns.
Lead endtoend systemofrecord migration initiatives, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and performance.
Architect and implement ingestion frameworks integrating POS/transactional systems, APIs, and relational databases (Postgres preferred).
Develop data products for both internal analytics consumers and external partners/vendors.
Collaborate with engineering teams to define, document, and evolve solution designs and data models.
Act as a technical lead and educator, guiding teams on best practices for Fabric, Spark, and modern data engineering.
Drive clarity in ambiguous situations by defining next steps, technical direction, and solution approaches independently.
Ensure high-quality development practices through code reviews, documentation, and adherence to engineering standards.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, production-ready data solutions.
Work across crossfunctional teams (engineering, analytics, product) to ensure smooth delivery and ongoing operational stability.

Minimum Qualifications
Graduation: B.Tech/B.E, MBA/MCA
Preferred Skills:
Deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric ecosystem, including lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks, Power BI integration, and semantic modeling.
Hands-on experience with PySpark/Spark notebooks in production environments.
Strong background in transaction-heavy domains such as retail, automotive, franchise, or similar industries.
Experience ingesting data from APIs and relational databases (Postgres strongly preferred).
Prior experience designing data products for analytics, reporting, and external data delivery.
Ability to function as an architect, technical lead, and mentor within engineering teams.
Strong communication and stakeholderhandling skills across engineering, analytics, and business groups.
Familiarity with modern data engineering practices: CI/CD, version control, orchestration, and observability.
Experience working in cloud ecosystems (Azure preferred) and integrating Fabric with downstream applications.
Proven ability to operate independently, handle ambigui
