Android Developer

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join a collaborative engineering team supporting a mobile application used by travel professionals. This position is well suited for a hands on developer who can ramp up quickly and contribute with minimal supervision.

Work Model: Hybrid (in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

• Type: W2
• Max Rate: $54/hour
• Duration: 6 months to start (with potential for extension or conversion)

• Design and develop Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Implement scalable application architecture using MVVM and/or MVI
• Develop and maintain unit tests using JUnit and/or MockK
• Implement and maintain authentication flows, including biometric authentication
• Collaborate closely with Android developers, backend teams, and project managers
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and code quality

• Advanced experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Strong understanding of Android Studio and Android SDK
• Experience building and supporting production Android applications
• Ability to work independently and contribute quickly with minimal onboarding
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a cross functional environment
