Title: Java Full Stack Developer
Location: VA; McLean (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract to hire

Job Description:
Must Have Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience (with 4+ years preferred), who is proficient in Java, microservices, and Angular, particularly using Java 17, Spring Boot framework, and Angular UI framework. Strong coding skills are essential for the role.
Technical Leadership
* Support planning activities, such as impact assessments, level of effort analysis and developer task assignments.
* Conduct and participate in detailed design reviews and validate that the design follows the approved architecture.
* Conduct regular code reviews to ensure best practices are being followed.
* Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to ramp up new development team members.
Production Support
* Participate in on-call production support rotation.
* Jump into troubleshooting sessions to resolve production issues and drive issue to resolution.
Qualifications
* 4+ years’ experience in Information Technology.
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent working experience.
* Experience with the below is required:
1. Hands-on experience in design, implementation and production support of Java/J2EE applications, Angular, Java Script, AWS, relational databases, SQL, GitHub Co-Pilot.
2. Hands-on experience in Spring Framework (Spring Boot), CI/CD frameworks, Apigee, Autosys/Shell scripting.
3. Hands-on Selenium and/or Cypress development experience, for test automation.
* Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to analyze system functionality with customers and resolve production issues.
* Experience in applying Object Oriented Analysis and Design principles.
* Practical experience designing and building enterprise and/or distributed systems.
* Demonstrates ability to analytically address complex problems, process critical data, establish facts, and draw quality conclusions.
