As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of six to eight engineers, guiding them through unique architectural hurdles while fostering their professional advancement. You will solve issues to intake, process, and securely export sensitive data, leveraging advanced automation and machine learning to intercept overbroad requests. Your role ensures we produce exactly what is legally required no more, and no less.
You will chart the future course for our tooling and services, coordinating with corporate lawyers, policy advisors, and product departments to guarantee our data pipelines function flawlessly. We are constantly scaling our infrastructure to keep pace with the rapidly shifting landscape of global data regulations. By directing these initiatives, your leadership will ensure Google cooperates with legitimate legal procedures while vigorously shielding the fundamental rights of our worldwide customer base. In this role, your technical skills and goals will directly safeguard digital privacy on a global scale.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
