The role of AWS Cloud Engineer involves designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, performance, and security of AWS environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
- Manage compute, storage, and networking resources in AWS
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Automate deployment and operational processes
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and system resilience
- Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering or infrastructure roles
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, etc.)
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking concepts
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems
- Experience with automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator) preferred
