Senior Data Engineer

Kforce Inc is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Saint Louis, MO. The role involves defining and creating ETL/ELT resources, collaborating with external partners, and providing guidance to less experienced staff.

Responsibilities:

• Works autonomously to define and create ETL/ELT (Extract, Transform, Load/Extract, Load, Transform) resources
• The Senior Data Engineer may work directly with subject matter experts to define or troubleshoot data migration issues
• Works with external partners to ensure the health of data extracts
• Possesses an understanding of PHI/PII (Protected Health Information/Personally Identifiable Information) principles and how they apply to data engineering
• Collaborates with peers, team and functional leaders to categorize and segregate data
• As a Senior Data Engineer, you will provide guidance and training to less experienced staff
• Develops templates and standards for ETL/ELT (Extract, Transform, Load/Extract, Load, Transform) development

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role or significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
• Understanding of PHI/PII (Protected Health Information/Personally Identifiable Information) principles and how they apply to data engineering
• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
