Sr. Associate, Data Engineer

New York Technology Partners is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support development efforts within a financial services and asset management environment. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and applications using Python
• Work with large datasets to support investment and financial data use cases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Solve complex technical problems and contribute to system improvements
• Communicate effectively while working independently in a remote environment

Requirements:

• 7–10 years of experience with Python development
• Experience in financial services, asset management, or investment management
• Strong problem-solving skills (technical assessment required)
• Ability to work independently with strong communication skills
• Experience with SQL and databases
• Familiarity with React
