Aegis Power Systems, Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of ruggedized power electronics supporting defense, aerospace, and industrial applications. The Technical Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project schedules and budgets, and ensure the successful delivery of mission-critical products to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from initiation through completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and material procurement
- Monitor project performance and maintain on-time delivery commitments
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and customers regarding project status
- Facilitate communication across teams to resolve technical or operational roadblocks
- Track and report project performance metrics to leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in engineering, manufacturing, or electronics environments
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification preferred
- Experience managing technical projects involving electronics or hardware development
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, datasheets, and technical specifications
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., UL, RoHS)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar project management tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with power electronics, PCB design, or embedded hardware systems
- Familiarity with hardware development life cycles and engineering change processes
- Experience coordinating prototype builds, testing, and product qualification
- Working knowledge of engineering design tools such as Altium, SolidWorks, or similar CAD platforms
- Experience supporting projects within defense, aerospace, or regulated manufacturing environments
