They are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and grow high-performing engineering teams, focusing on improving the end-to-end procurement journey and building platforms that empower merchandising teams.

- Drive programs in engineering reliability, productivity, process, and quality
- Recruit and retain best-in-class engineering talent to build a diverse high performing team
- Inspire an atmosphere of continuous improvement by serving as a coach, mentor, and technical advisor
Requirements:
- 4+ years of leading and managing high-performing engineering teams
- Strong strategic thinking and proactively identify business opportunities in close partnership with Product and Data Science
- Track record of building deep, effective partnerships across Business Partners, Product, and Data Science, partnering with leaders to shape direction as well as execution
- Data-driven mindset to problem-solving, grounding decisions in key business metrics and continuously evaluating impact and trade-offs
- Experience partnering with Product, Data Science teams to design, build, and evolve recommendation systems that surface relevant, high-quality product recommendations
- Experience in the retail domain, including familiarity with third-party systems such as master data management (MDM), assortment planning, and ERP platforms
- Experience integrating internal platforms with best-in-class third-party systems, with a focus on scalability, data integrity, and long-term architectural health
- Experience running teams in an Agile environment
- Previously managed remote teams
- Flexible, dedicated, and curious
- Belief in the craft of software engineering, but pragmatic when necessary
- Passion for mentoring and coaching engineers and managers
- Track record of delivering features and functionality on time with high quality
- Excellent communication skills
