Largeton Group is seeking a Splunk Delivery Engineer to provide technical expertise in configuring and developing against the Splunk platform. The role involves delivering consulting services, managing machine data, and driving the integration of Splunk solutions to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise in configuring, installing, and developing against the Splunk platform for operational intelligence
- Deliver project-related consulting services to customers, analyzing and managing large streams of machine data from IT systems and technology infrastructure (physical, virtual, and cloud)
- Drive complex deployments and integration of Splunk solutions, working directly with customers to address unique business challenges across diverse use cases
- Collaborate across internal teams and with customers to ensure the right technical solutions are delivered, incorporating feedback to drive feature innovation
- Leverage prior experience to share best practices and create innovative solutions that drive user adoption and maximize the value of Splunk
- Empower and enable customers to resolve future technical questions independently
- May perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in technical consulting or big data analytics
- Strong data analysis skills, able to understand and integrate data from multiple, disparate sources
- Understanding of common enterprise applications, especially in security and finance
- Experience with both Unix and Windows operating systems and command line interfaces
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., bash), application development (e.g., Java, Python, .NET), databases, and analytical tools
- Ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including IT admins and executives
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and aggressive deadlines
- Excellent verbal communication and customer interaction skills
- Splunk Admin, Core, and Architect certifications highly preferred
- Statistical and analytical modeling skills are a plus but not required
