PIM Brands is a company that creates beloved snack brands, and they are seeking an intern for their Marketing Department. The Confections Brand Marketing & Innovation Intern will assist with brand management, support innovation pipeline development, and serve as a Gen Z ambassador to advise on marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the brand team with key aspects of brand management, building an understanding of the day-to-day requirements of an ABM
- Support Confections innovation pipeline development by assisting in product ideation, category & consumer research, trend analysis, and concept creation
- Partner with communications and PR teams to bring forward new ideas and marketing concepts to support Confections marketing plans in 2026 & 2027
- Lead Confections team’s competitive research with weekly roundups of new products and marketing campaigns in the category
- Serve as key Gen Z ambassador to advise Confections team on targeting Gen Z consumers in a meaningful and impactful way
Requirements:
- Rising Senior in college/university, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
- Strong business acumen and analytical ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and bias for action
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Demonstrated personal and professional values
- Creativity: a creative thinker with an eye for good marketing and design and the ability to bring exciting and new ideas to the table
- Strategic Thinking: ability to interpret data and present findings in a clear, visual format to inform high-level strategy
- Communication: excellent verbal and writing communication skills and comfortable collaborating across departments and teams
- Have access to local housing and reliable transportation
- Be able to work during our 10 week summer program, which is a 40-hour week, beginning June 1st, 2026 through at least August 7th 2026
- Knowledge of and passion for the specific business you are interested in at PIM Brands
- Strong passion for and knowledge of the Food and CPG industry
- Leadership experience on or off campus
