Operator/Trainer

Valiant is looking for an Operator/Trainer to join our team!    This position is a full time Exempt (salary) position, supporting the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC)Support Contract. The Operator/Trainer will operate / maintain / sustain the HICON requirement.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESS:

• Assists the customer by operating Mission Command workstations and providing familiarization training, primarily in Command Post of the Future computer applications.
• Diagnoses and acts on machine stoppage and error conditions not fully covered by existing procedures and guidelines (e.g., resetting switches and other controls or making mechanical adjustments to maintain or restore equipment operations).
• Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:  Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.  

 

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:  CompTIA Security +

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 1+ year’s past experience as a Computer Operator/trainer, Tier I Helpdesk, or related position.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

Position: Office environment, occasionally outdoors.

Work Week:  Monday-Friday (may vary based on mission requirements) 

Work Hours:  8 hour shift (may vary based on mission requirements) 

Overtime:  As Required
