Data Engineer

SMARTFOX is a company seeking an Entry Level Data Engineer to assist in building and maintaining data pipelines. The role involves collaborating with data analysts and stakeholders to ensure data quality and integrity while supporting data integration processes.

Responsibilities:

• You will assist in building and maintaining data pipelines to collect, process, and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data
• You will support the development and optimisation of ETL/ELT processes for data integration from multiple sources
• You will collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable datasets
• You will monitor data workflows and troubleshoot issues to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability
• You will help design and maintain databases, data warehouses, and data lakes
• You will implement data validation checks and ensure compliance with data governance standards
• You will document processes, data flows, and system architecture for internal use
• You will stay updated with emerging data engineering tools, technologies, and best practices

Requirements:

• You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
