Cardinal Health is a global healthcare services and products company, and they are seeking a Sr. Global Product Marketing Specialist to support the Wound Management portfolio. This role involves product lifecycle management, developing communication methods across teams, and contributing to the global product strategy by understanding customer needs and market trends.
Responsibilities:
- Support product lifecycle management activities for the portfolio, including but not limited to key projects or programs, change development processes, and data management
- Develop effective communication methods between supply planning, sourcing, and regional marketing teams
- Support critical revenue driving projects and effectively communicate project progress
- Become a product expert for all elements of the global Wound Management portfolio and support Medical Essentials portfolio as needed
- Understand end customer clinical practices, patient needs, and global market trends to contribute to the global product strategy for the portfolio
- Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of marketing and product management disciplines necessary for building business plans, product plans, and marketing plans
- Capable of working collaboratively among cross-functional teams including R&D, sourcing, enterprise marketing, enterprise contracting, strategic pricing, customer service, finance, quality, regulatory, legal, inventory, and regional marketing teams
- Translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales & profitability for the business. Accountable for gaining and driving cross functional support from all stakeholders
- Identify and remain current on market trends. Determine product/service lifecycle implications and makes recommendations to maintain market competitiveness and to achieve sustainable economic success
- Support and launch commercial tactics such as collateral development and value propositions
- Exhibit strong financial and analytical acumen, and logical decision making in the general business environment
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- Tenacity and willingness to roll up your sleeves and work quickly
- Capable of multitasking and prioritization to deliver on business commitments
- Ability to problem solve and think creatively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Ability to participate in 1-2 evening calls each week
