Generative AI Engineer

iShift.io is seeking a Senior AI Engineer who can design and deliver AI-native applications end-to-end. The role involves building scalable AI solutions embedded in enterprise workflows and ensuring compliance in production environments.

Responsibilities:

• Build AI-native applications embedded in enterprise workflows
• Design end-to-end systems (frontend, backend, data, AI layers)
• Develop and deploy:
• RAG pipelines
• Agent-based architectures
• LLM-powered services
• Create scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Deliver secure, compliant AI solutions for federal environments
• Optimize performance, cost, and reliability in production
• Help define internal AI frameworks and accelerators
• Mentor engineers and lead technical design decisions
