Software Engineer

HireClearedTalent is seeking a Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI Clearance and extensive experience in software development. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services, as well as collaborating with other teams to optimize applications in cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot)
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices for web and mobile applications
• Containerize applications within RKE2/AWS as containerd/docker applications and manage deployments in cloud environments
• Integrate and optimize services on AWS (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) including stateless workloads
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate testing and deployment workflows
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
