Agentic AI Software Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton is a leading provider of AI services to the nation, seeking an Agentic AI Software Engineer to develop user-focused solutions that enhance organizational efficiency. The role involves creating and implementing end-to-end AI and machine learning solutions to address complex client challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement complete end-to-end solutions that modernize client systems
• Ensure that your team’s solutions consider the broader ecosystem and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements
• Deepen your skill set in areas like cloud and DevOps engineering

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building production-level AI or ML systems, including Large Language Models (LLMs), agents, or complex automation frameworks
• 3+ years of experience with Python and Python tools, including Pandas or NumPy
• Experience with LLMs, ML, Deep Learning (DL), and Reinforcement Learning (RL)
• Experience with tools and AI agent frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or LangChain
• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
• Experience connecting agents to APIs, cloud platforms, or databases
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 10+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
• Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire date
• Experience with the administration of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Kubernetes, Docker, or Jenkins
• Master's degree
• ML, AI, or Solution Architecture Certification
