About this role
Spectrohm is a startup building high-speed, scalable inspection solutions for bags and packages using patented radio wave technology. They are looking for a Data Scientist to help build products for various commercial and government applications, focusing on machine learning, statistics, and data visualizations.
Responsibilities:
- Hold a MS in Software Engineering/Computer Science/Mathematics, or BS in Software Engineering/Computer Science or related technical field with 5+ years’ experience
- Experience developing software with two or more of the following technologies:
- Machine learning model training and inference using PyTorch or similar framework
- Working and understand real-world sensor data
- Data visualizations
- Signal processing in Matlab or Python
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
- Desire to be part of a dynamic team and willingness to challenge and be challenged by others
- Commitment to growth and learning
- Must be eligible to work in the US and willing to work in person at least 3 days a week at our Tysons Corner VA office
