Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and advancement of the CTS Cybersecurity Program within a judicial environment, providing risk-based cybersecurity architecture leadership.
- Deliver key initiatives including IMSS contract onboarding, enterprise vulnerability management implementation, TRA framework onboarding, application security assessments, firewall optimization, and security architecture reviews.
- Develop, implement, and operationalize cybersecurity incident response playbooks and support incident readiness activities such as simulations and drills.
- Advance cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures through approval and organizational adoption.
- Prepare executive-level briefings, decision documents, and status reports translating technical risks into business impact and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Procurement, Legal, Finance, Enterprise Architecture teams, governance bodies, and vendors.
- Navigate public-sector procurement, privacy, and compliance requirements with sensitivity to judicial environments.
- Identify and implement opportunities for AI and automation to enhance cybersecurity operations and governance.
Required Qualifications:
- Active cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, (ISC) , GIAC, ISACA, or equivalent.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Willingness to undergo Criminal Records Check and Enhanced Security Clearance including credit check.
- 5+ years of experience designing and reviewing secure architectures across network, cloud, application, identity, and data domains.
- 3+ years of experience developing and implementing cybersecurity incident response plans and participating in incident simulations.
- 3+ years of experience performing Threat Risk Assessments or similar security risk assessments.
- 5+ years of experience working with diverse stakeholder groups across business and IT functions.
- 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools including Microsoft 365 E5 (Azure AD/Entra, Defender, Purview), SIEM, vulnerability management tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- 8 10+ years of IT/security experience with at least 5 years in a senior role managing cybersecurity or IT risk initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
Preferred Qualifications:- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
- Experience designing and deploying cloud-based data platforms integrated with AI/ML technologies.
- Experience coordinating information management, privacy impact, and security compliance within IT projects.
- Experience implementing enterprise security capabilities such as IMSS.
- Experience establishing enterprise vulnerability management programs including tools, processes, and reporting.
- Experience working within judicial or court environments.
- Experience in public-sector environments with knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g., FOIP).
- Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity and information management policies under tight timelines.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure and Snowflake, including data services and architecture.
