Senior Software Engineer
Location: Urbandale, IA

Role Overview
Seeking a Senior SRE to build and support reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-based systems. The role focuses on automation, observability, incident response, and improving system resiliency in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and improve system reliability, resiliency, performance, and security
- Lead incident response and serve as Incident Commander for major outages
- Automate failure detection, recovery, and remediation
- Define and manage SLIs/SLOs and system metrics
- Conduct post-mortems and drive long-term improvements
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams
- Create and maintain runbooks and playbooks
Requirements
- 4-7+ years of experience in SRE / Software Engineering
- Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Monitoring & observability tools (Datadog preferred)
- Programming experience in Java, Scala, Python, Go, .NET, or JavaScript
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
