Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver projects within the IST Project Management Office (PMO) under PMO Manager supervision.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality artifacts.
- Apply PMBOK methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
- Facilitate communication between business, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance, including schedule performance index (SPI), and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Manage vendor relationships, track issues, and support resolution and contract discussions.
- Conduct process flow analysis and utilize RASCI models for clarity in roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Support estimation, budgeting, and business case development using standard tools.
- Promote collaboration, coordination, and effective communication across teams.
- Provide clear and concise project updates to diverse audiences.
Required Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- Experience with Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance and certification requirements.
- 2 5 years of experience in project management and exposure to Business Analysis (PBA) processes.
- Experience working in a PMO environment supporting medium to large organizations (500+ employees preferred).
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in project planning, estimation, forecasting, and resource management.
- Experience with Microsoft tools for analysis, reporting, and project tracking.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
