Description & Requirements
A SAP Program Manager for S/4HANA and ECC leads large-scale digital transformations, focusing on transitioning legacy ECC systems to S/4HANA. Responsibilities include full lifecycle management (planning, execution, testing), governance, risk management (RAID), budget control, and managing stakeholders across geographies. They bridge business needs with IT implementation, requiring strong vendor management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive, end-to-end project plans for S/4HANA migrations (Greenfield or Brownfield) and ECC upgrades.
- Governance & Reporting: Chair steering committees, manage P&L, and provide status updates to senior leadership.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and IT.
- Vendor Management: Drive accountability for System Integrators (SIs) and external partners to ensure quality delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID).
- Process Design: Conduct workshops for requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and process optimization.

Required Experience and Skills
- Expertise: 10+ years in SAP Project/Program Management.
- Implementations: Proven experience with 3-4 full SAP implementation lifecycles, specifically including ECC to S/4HANA migrations.
- Module Knowledge: Understanding of core modules like FICO, MM, SD, and PP.
- Methodologies: Proficient in SAP Activate or Agile methodologies.
- Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional, global teams and managing offshore resources.
