Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Technical Consultant or Developer. You will work closely with Functional Consultant, Architects, and Customer stakeholders to implement robust ServiceNow solutions related to non-ITSM modules that streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and customize ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
- Configure SPM applications like Innovation & Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Resource management & timecard, Financial management, Strategic Planning workspace, Resource management workspace, Project portfolio workspaces.
- Developing, designing and rolling out new application modules, workflows and catalog requests
- Adapt existing or new methodologies and procedures to create possible solutions to complex problems.
- Develop integrations with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
- Data migration experience in migrating active/inactive records.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to standards.
- Automate workflows using Flow Designer and/or Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, etc.
- Build, customize, and manage specialized AI agents that can autonomously perform tasks like case triage, information gathering, and automated customer communication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide ongoing support.
- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices and platform governance.
- Use considerable judgment to determine solution and seek guidance on complex problems
- Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and collaborate with other team members
Preferred Skills:
- Administration of a ServiceNow instance including the delegation of groups, workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionary, catalog items and updates of all other existing solutions revisions
- ServiceNow Experience should include scripting in ServiceNow, tool configuration, design work, technical configuration and deployment.
- Design and delivery of technical solutions based on the ServiceNow platform
- Creating detailed documentation such as Technical Design Documentation
- Provide escalated support on technical issues to team members who are working on service now implementations
- Candidates with experience in developing scoped custom applications will be preferred
- Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
- ServiceNow Implementation certification is a plus (as many as possible from the below list)
- Certified System Administrator (Mandatory)
- Certified Application Developer
- CIS Strategic Portfolio Management
- Micro certification Platform Analytics
- ITIL certification is a plus
