PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

1. Provides IT support services for seniors in the community. Companion services are non-skilled, non-nursing services that do not provide hands-on support.

2. Duties may include the following types of responsibilities:

    

   1. Provide support services for resident and team members IT needs
   2. Communication and support related to sensory loss (low vision, hearing) 
   3. Tech support such as setting up, trouble shooting and teaching hardware and software
   4. Helps drive a positive customer experience by building relationships, exhibiting empathy, and providing solutions for their needs.
   5. Handyman services such as hanging pictures, furniture assembly, and/or small repairs
   6. Other responsibilities as assigned by the IHS Director

Qualifications:

6 Months IT experience preferred

Current CPR certification or CPR certification upon hire.
Has the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services
provided.
Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision
Is kind, reliable, and compassionate.
