Staff Analytics Engineer

ClassDojo is dedicated to providing every child with an education they love through their communication app that connects K-12 teachers, children, and families. The Staff Analytics Engineer will own and evolve the analytics data layer, ensuring high-quality data for decision-making and shaping the future of analytics at ClassDojo with AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain core data models that power product and business insights
• Improve data quality, consistency, and trust across key datasets and metrics
• Design scalable, well-structured data models that enable self-serve analytics
• Introduce and operationalize AI-assisted workflows to accelerate insight generation
• Identify inefficiencies and build tools or processes to improve analytics velocity
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into reliable data solutions
• Contribute to the evolution of analytics practices and standards across the company

Requirements:

• Have strong experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, and SQL
• Take ownership of data quality and care deeply about accuracy and consistency
• Think of datasets and metrics as products that require maintenance and stewardship
• Are excited about applying AI to improve analytics workflows and insight generation
• Have a builder mindset and proactively improve systems and processes
• Can design scalable, maintainable data models and standards
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
