Turnberry Solutions is a consulting firm focused on digital modernization, and they are seeking a Product Manager, SMS Manager. In this role, you will own the SMS Manager product strategy and collaborate with various teams to enhance SMS capabilities, ensuring compliance and a positive member experience.
Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the SMS Manager product strategy and roadmap, informed by market trends, business needs, and member insights
- Serve as the enterprise expert on SMS channel capabilities, best practices, and appropriate use cases
- Balance growth, governance, compliance, and member experience in all SMS enablement decisions
- Partner with Marketing and Line of Business teams to enable critical, personalized, and high-value messaging through SMS
- Translate member insights, data, and stakeholder needs into prioritized epics and features based on impact and feasibility
- Ensure SMS is effectively coordinated within a communication strategy, aligning timing, content, and intent across channels
- Define objectives, KPIs, and success metrics for SMS messaging in partnership with analytics and insights teams
- Manage and groom the product backlog with clear requirements and artifacts needed for design and engineering teams
- Lead cross-functional delivery to ensure quality, scalability, reliability, and compliant execution of SMS capabilities
- Champion continuous improvement through performance insights, testing, and iteration
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Product Management experience in digital platforms, communications products, or consumer engagement tools
- Experience working with agile development teams across engineering, design, and analytics
- Strong understanding of regulated environments and the importance of governance, compliance, and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to define roadmaps and deliver products end-to-end
- Proven success translating user and business needs into impactful product capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs and using data to drive product decisions
- Proficiency with product and analytics tools (e.g., Aha, Rally, Figma, Tableau, or similar)
- Experience with SMS, messaging platforms, MarTech ecosystems, or communications APIs
- Familiarity with TCPA, consent management, preference management, or content governance frameworks
- Experience supporting personalization, segmentation, and trigger-based messaging
- Awareness of or strong interest in communication orchestration
- Background in healthcare, member engagement, or other regulated industries
- Agile Product Owner, CSPO, or similar certification
