SimplePractice is dedicated to improving access to quality care for health and wellness clinicians through innovative software solutions. The Senior Product Designer will shape user experiences across the EHR platform, focusing on user-centered design principles and driving business outcomes through effective design solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from discovery and research to ideation, prototyping, and final implementation
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate complex user needs and business requirements into intuitive and impactful design solutions
- Conduct and analyze user research to inform design decisions and improve user experiences
- Create a range of design deliverables, including user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Develop and maintain consistent design patterns and guidelines across our products
- Write clear, concise, and user-friendly content for product interfaces and user journeys
- Advocate for user needs and balance them with business objectives
- Present design work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively
- Mentor and inspire other designers and contribute to the growth of the Experience Design team
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of product design experience in a product or design-focused tech company
- Advanced in Figma & AI tools
- Strong foundation in UI and interaction design with special attention to detail, including strong writing skills for product copy and microcopy
- Ability to rapidly iterate and produce multiple design concepts, including conducting user testing to validate design decisions
- Capable of time management and meeting deadlines
- A creative thinker who has lots of ideas and sees solutions when most would not
- A portfolio demonstrating creative problem solving, innovative solutions and clean visual aesthetic
- Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, strong work ethic, sense of urgency and accountability
- Experience with data-driven design decisions, A/B testing methodologies, and experimental design approaches
