ModeSens is the intelligent purchase assistant defining the future of luxury shopping. They are seeking a Senior Copywriter who will own the brand's voice, develop brand guidelines, and ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Brand Director to ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints — every surface, channel, and piece of content should ladder up to the same brand voice and guidelines
- Develop and own ModeSens’ copy guidelines and messaging hierarchy — covering key concepts like Purchase Assistant, Elite Membership, Concierge, and Link Search — and ensure every team uses them
- Write long-form web copy that defines who ModeSens is: homepage, About Us, Elite Membership, Concierge, Ambassador Program, and key feature landing pages
- Translate brand positioning into clear, differentiated copy across all channels — nothing goes out without passing the brand guidelines check
- Write copy for launches, feature announcements, partnership materials, and media kits
- Help define and evolve ModeSens’ voice—smart, direct, and confident
- Serve as the final review on all copy before it reaches a real user — product, partner, marketing, and beyond
- Product team writes the first draft of in-product copy; you review and edit to ensure it is fully aligned with brand guidelines and voice, and guides customer clearly to complete a task/action
- Audit existing copy across all touchpoints to identify inconsistent messaging and confusing language—and fix it
- Build and maintain a copy system that scales: standard language, approved terminology, and guardrails that any team can use independently
- Write and optimize website copy with SEO best practices—meta titles, descriptions, headers, and on-page content. Same with AEO and ASO
- Develop a content calendar and write blog posts that drive organic traffic—trending fashion news, shopping tips, community perspectives, and luxury lifestyle content
- Build ModeSens’ editorial voice as a go-to resource in the luxury shopping space, similar to editorial-led platforms like Lyst and Highsnobiety
- Track performance and iterate based on SEO data and content analytics
- In-product microcopy is in scope — buttons, tooltips, empty states, error messages, CTAs — but the product team leads; you review and align
- Familiarity with UX writing principles is a plus; the ability to give clear, fast feedback on product copy is essential
