Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a DevOps Cloud Engineer to support clients in modernizing their IT infrastructures. The role involves managing server configurations and utilizing cloud services to meet client missions.
Responsibilities:
- Support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions
- Work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions
- Apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines (VMs) or networks
- Use cloud service providers to further your clients’ meaningful missions
- Helping to develop, deploy, or manage IT infrastructures for crucial server and network components
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience with the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
- Experience provisioning computer networking and storage and setting up servers that the platform is on, including VMs or networks
- Experience with integration and deploying container services through a DevSecOps pipeline
- Experience with AWS Services such as EC2, S3, VPC, ELB, or CloudFormation
- Experience working with Git for branching, tagging, merging, and release management, including GitLab CI/CD such as designing, writing, and managing .gitlab-ci.yml pipelines for build, test, and deploy workflows
- Experience with Linux
- Experience in Kubernetes
- Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience writing scripts using tools, including Bash, Python, or Boto3
- Experience with GEOAxIS, Elasticsearch, Helm, and Terraform
- Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipeline optimization, including the use of caching, artifacts, and parallelization to speed up CI/CD performance
- Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in CS or Computer Engineering
- CompTIA Security+ Certification
