Senior KDB+ Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a Senior KDB+ Developer to design, build, and maintain critical applications supporting regulatory reporting across multiple asset classes. This role involves hands-on development, as well as participation in architecture, design, and analysis activities. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that meet strict regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications for regulatory reporting across multiple asset classes Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions Participate in architecture, design, and analysis of complex systems Develop and support high-performance, scalable applications using KDB+ and related technologies Implement and maintain deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines Work within Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban for project delivery Integrate applications using RESTful microservices and event-driven architectures Ensure application reliability, performance, and compliance with regulatory standards Utilize source control and version management for feature-driven development Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across systems Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in software development with expertise in KDB+, Java, and/or Python Strong experience working in Linux environments with Bash scripting Experience with relational and NoSQL databases Familiarity with REST microservices architecture Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD pipelines Experience with source control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or similar tools Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly Effective communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with Apache Kafka or other event streaming platforms Experience with UI frameworks such as Angular or React Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Artifactory, API registries, or automated deployment tools Education: Bachelors Degree
