Functional Safety Engineer (Entry-Level)

SARACA is a global engineering R&D services company specializing in various industries including MedTech and Aerospace. They are seeking an entry-level Functional Safety Engineer to support safety assessments, adhere to safety standards, and assist in the development of safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform safety analysis using STPA, FMEA, and FTA
• Support development of functional safety concepts & requirements
• Collaborate with hardware & software teams to integrate safety into design
• Contribute to safety verification, validation & testing activities
• Prepare safety documentation (safety plans, safety cases, reports)
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with safety standards

Requirements:

• 0–3 years of experience in Functional Safety
• Hands-on experience with STPA (MANDATORY)
• Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 25119, ISO 13849, IEC 61508)
• Understanding of safety lifecycle processes
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Safety / Science
• Certifications (CFSE, CFSP, AFSP) are a plus
