Sr. Associate Data Engineer ($65/hr)

New York Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Associate Data Engineer to support data initiatives within a financial services and asset management environment. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, processing large datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data-driven applications using Python
• Process and analyze large datasets to support investment and financial use cases
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, high-quality data solutions
• Troubleshoot complex data and system issues, driving continuous improvements
• Operate effectively in a fully remote, collaborative environment with clear communication

Requirements:

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Python development for data engineering
• Background in financial services, asset management, or investment management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (technical assessment required)
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
