About this role
FMG is a leading all-in-one digital marketing platform empowering financial advisors, insurance agents, and enterprises with scalable and compliant marketing solutions. The Sr. Database Engineer will guide how data is managed to build effective products and systems while collaborating across engineering and cloud infrastructure teams in a SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:
- 10+ years experience developing web-based, cloud-hosted software in a team environment
- 5+ years of T-SQL and SQL Server experience
- Experience managing production data systems
- Strong understanding of cloud environments and site reliability (AWS, DataDog, DPA)
- Strong understanding of Devops principles and systems (CI/CD, Github, Jenkins)
- Familiarity with coding languages (C#, Python, Powershell)
- Familiarity with AI and Agentic approaches to data
- Well-rounded knowledge of platform architecture
- Passion for coaching and mentoring
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Access to a private & secure workspace, free from distractions
- Accessible during the assigned work schedule for regular duties and responsibilities as outlined by the supervisor
- An internet connection with speeds of 5 Megabits down / 3 Megabits up (5mbps/3mbps)
