SV Academy is partnering with a high growth global SaaS company that is transforming how solar energy systems are designed and deployed. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building pipeline for the sales team while representing a product that helps solar companies design faster, more accurately, and at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Generating new business opportunities and building pipeline for the sales team
- Prospecting and researching target accounts across the renewable energy space
- Executing outbound outreach through calls, email, and LinkedIn
- Qualifying leads to book meetings for Account Executives
- Managing pipeline in CRM tools
- Collaborating with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging
- Staying up to date on trends in solar and climate tech
- Representing the team at events and trade shows
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client facing role
- Strong alignment with sustainability, renewable energy, or environmental studies
- Strong communication skills and a polished, professional presence
- High energy, curiosity, and genuine interest in the energy transition
- Ability to handle high volume outreach and stay accountable to performance metrics
- Resilience and consistency in a fast-paced environment
- Coachable and eager to improve through feedback
- Background or demonstrated interest in sustainability or climate related work
- Experience in high activity roles such as sales, outreach, or fundraising
- Self-starter mindset with a strong work ethic
