Business Management Analyst - Accounting

Northrop Grumman is a trusted provider of mission-enabling solutions for global security, and they are seeking a Business Management Analyst - Accounting to join their team. The role involves applying accounting principles to analyze financial information, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy
• Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Participate in special projects and ensure compliance with accounting standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration such as Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Management or Marketing, or a related field (e.g., Mathematics, Risk Management) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of financial work experience
• Basic understanding of Government Compliance core concepts and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, chart generation, VBA macros, etc.)
• US citizenship is required
• 2 years of financial accounting work experience
• SAP or similar ERP software experience
• Professional experience in Aerospace & Defense, Financial Services, or Telecommunications
