The Marketing Automation Product Owner is responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering marketing automation capabilities that drive customer engagement and business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the marketing automation product roadmap, aligning with business goals and customer experience strategy
- Gather and prioritize business requirements, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams
- Monitor platform performance, campaign effectiveness, and user adoption; recommend improvements based on data insights
- Ensure integration of marketing automation tools with CRM, data platforms, and other systems
- Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, product ownership, or marketing technology roles
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with platforms such as Marketo, SFDC, or similar required
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and data analytics
- Understanding of end-to-end software development processes and business requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Experience managing vendor relationships
- Strong project management skills, ability to juggle multiple projects and work with a variety of stakeholders and teams, including business and engineering teams
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks and switching priorities and focus areas as needed
