Job Summary
HIRE Technology is looking for an IT Customer Service Representative who will provide direct support to assigned Account Executives, Marketing Associates, and Customers. This position focuses on delivering timely, accurate, and professional customer service while ensuring smooth order processing, delivery coordination, and issue resolution. The CSR plays a critical role in maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting daily operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and service requests
- Answer incoming customer calls and respond professionally and promptly
- Coordinate key pick-up requests and manage will-call orders
- Handle transportation, routing, and delivery-related questions
- Monitor customer orders prior to cutoff times to ensure accuracy and completion
- Manage and coordinate same-day deliveries for OPCO
- Provide customers with invoice copies and order-related documentation
- Communicate regularly with Account Executives and customers regarding order status and issues
- Assist with resolving customer issues as quickly and accurately as possible
- Maintain a customer-first mindset while collaborating positively with team members
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months –3 years of relevant experience in customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong telephone and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills; ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with minimal or no call-outs
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in support, customer service, or logistics
- Familiarity with IBM AS400 (preferred but not required)
- Experience handling order processing, routing, or delivery coordination
