We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to focus on strengthening the stability, security, and overall effectiveness of a Cisco Meraki environment by identifying weaknesses and recommending practical improvements. The person in this role will evaluate current network architecture, help raise operational maturity, and drive infrastructure enhancements that align with established best practices.
Responsibilities:
Assess the existing Cisco Meraki network environment to uncover design weaknesses, security exposures, and areas for performance improvement.
Review policies, rules, and configuration templates across the network and recommend changes that improve consistency and control.
Lead upgrades and optimization efforts for Meraki infrastructure, including network components supporting operational and other locations.
Partner with technical stakeholders to strengthen network standards and introduce scalable best-practice approaches.
Analyze the overall maturity of the networking program and provide actionable guidance for long-term improvement.
Troubleshoot complex network issues involving Cisco networking technologies and implement effective resolutions.
Support and maintain core networking components, including Cisco routers and Cisco ASA security appliances, where needed.
Document findings, recommendations, and completed enhancements to provide clear visibility into network improvements.

Requirements
10+ years of experience in network engineering roles.
Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco Meraki technologies in enterprise environments.
Solid background in Cisco networking, including routing, security, and infrastructure design.
Experience working with Cisco routers and Cisco ASA appliances.
Proven ability to evaluate network architecture and identify security or design gaps.
Demonstrated success implementing upgrades and improvements in complex network environments.
Ability to recommend and apply network best practices that improve reliability, security, and scalability.
