Job Overview:
Pay Range: $30.30hr - $35.30hr
Responsibilities:
- Perform in vivo imaging studies using PET, SPECT, CT, echoMRI, and MRI modalities.
- Support additional imaging techniques including optical and ultrasound imaging.
- Handle laboratory animals (rodents) in accordance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
- Safely handle radioactive materials following established radiation safety protocols.
- Execute imaging protocols with accuracy and consistency while maintaining detailed experimental records.
- Process and analyze imaging data using specialized software, including quantitative PET/SPECT/CT analysis and automation tools.
- Maintain organized data repositories ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Contribute to preparation of study reports, presentations, and scientific documentation.
- Utilize tools such as GraphPad Prism, Excel, and PowerPoint for data analysis and visualization.
- Support development and implementation of new imaging methodologies and protocols.
- Maintain imaging equipment, manage lab inventory, and adhere to SOPs and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues under supervision.
- Participate in laboratory organization and operational activities.
Required Skills And Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Imaging Sciences, Physics, or related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience, OR Master s degree in a related field.
- Strong foundation in scientific principles related to biology and imaging sciences.
- Experience working within established laboratory procedures and methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data management and documentation.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with in vivo PET, SPECT, CT, and/or MRI imaging.
- Experience handling laboratory animals in research environments.
- Understanding of animal anatomy and physiology.
- Experience working with radioactive materials and radiation safety practices.
- Advanced proficiency in GraphPad Prism and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with preclinical imaging workflows from acquisition to analysis.
- Experience with imaging analysis software such as Imalytics, PMOD, VivoQuant, AMIDE, or similar.
