JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, this position provides administrative and technical support to the Department management team. The role supports information systems, data workflows, digital communications, and technology enabled compliance functions to assist daily operations. Responsibilities include accurate data entry, basic reporting, maintenance of departmental document repositories, and timely dissemination of safety related information. The position assists with formatting and distributing materials, supporting departmental systems, coordinating routine information needs, and overseeing designated safety assets, including AEDs. Serving as a support function between department leadership, staff, and institutional systems, this role contributes to the efficient operation of Public Safety services.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as sedentary work involving lifting no more than twenty-five (25) pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met.
