Billtrust is a leader in B2B accounts receivable workflow and payment software, providing AI-powered solutions to enhance customer satisfaction. The Sales Executive will focus on identifying, qualifying, and closing new Enterprise customers, managing complex sales cycles for SaaS order-to-cash solutions, and driving business growth through effective sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue goals and drive business growth
- Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online platforms
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that convey the value proposition of our solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target organizations
- Collaborate with the pre-sales team to develop tailored solutions and proposals that address client requirements
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Development and Sales Ops to manage leads and drive deal flow
- Provide feedback to Product, Professional Services and other teams for process and product improvements
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new market opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes
Requirements:
- Proven success in selling software to VP and C-Level and exceeding quota – 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to understand an enterprise solution and manage a complex sales cycle, with deal sizes over $150k in ARR
- An understanding of a multi stakeholder sales environment that involves multiple products and departments
- Strong presentation skills, both in-person and on-line via webinar
- Attentiveness to details and advanced listening skills
- Continuous learner, technical curiosity, and an interest in the payments/AR ecosystem
- Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally, and work well within a distributed, team-oriented environment
- Ability to leverage Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools
- Comfortable with up to 25-35% travel ~ 2-4 Customer Sites a month
- Selling Software-as-a-Service experience; Payments, AR, AP, ERP and/or FinTech experience nice-to-have
- Also a student of sales, bringing solid experience with various sales methodologies, such as Solution Selling, Sandler, or Miller Heiman
