About this role
We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to help us transform a flagship desktop application into a modern, web-based platform. You will work closely with lead developers, take ownership of modules, and guide the migration strategy.
Location: Hanover, VA (Onsite)
Interview Process: In-Person
Requirements:
- Must be able to work Onsite in Hanover, VA.
- Must be able to attend an In-Person interview.
- Local candidates are strongly preferred.
Core Skills We're Looking For:
- The Backend/Frameworks: Expert knowledge in ASP.NET, MVC, Web Services, and .NET (C# / VB.NET).
- Frontend Mastery: Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML, and jQuery Unobtrusive Validation.
- Data & Database: Strong experience with RDBMS, specifically Oracle and writing complex SQL/PLSQL queries.
- Legacy to Modern: Experience with WinForms / WPF (essential for understanding the current desktop environment) and migration.
- DevOps: Skilled in TFS / GIT source control.
- Bonus Points: Knowledge of Angular or React is a strong plus!
