Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Fifteen (10) years' experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Four (5) years of additional SA experience (5 years total) may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Requires DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification, and Computing Environment (CE) Certification (Security+)
Job Description:
- Configure, deploy, and manage Windows operating systems, including installation, updates, and performance tuning to ensure system reliability and performance
- Monitor system compliance by tracking and applying required patches, security updates, and configuration baselines
- Perform vulnerability management activities, including NESSUS scanning, analysis, and remediation of identified risks
- Research and implement corrective actions to mitigate vulnerabilities, including those identified through CVEs, Cisco advisories, and IAVA reports
- Support security incident response efforts and apply critical security updates in a timely manner
- Provide technical support to end users, assisting with system access, troubleshooting, and effective use of IT resources
- Support day-to-day IT operations in a busy, fast-paced environment, including monitoring and resolving issues across client, server, storage, and network systems
- Manage user account lifecycle in Active Directory, including account creation, updates, and deactivation
- Assist with implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems to ensure high availability and performance
- Support Network Engineers by maintaining and troubleshooting networking devices and related infrastructure
- Maintain and update systems such as Biscotti and STE/STN environments, ensuring proper synchronization and functionality
- Conduct scanning and validation of new GCENext equipment prior to deployment
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic Windows Server administration; familiarity with Linux environments is a plus
