About this role
Atos is a company seeking a Bioinformatics Engineer. The role involves managing a team of bioinformatics programmers and requires expertise in programming and data modeling for analytical applications.
Responsibilities:
- Experience with R, python, Cloud computing services (AWS) and analytics/visualization software (Spotfire) is preferred
- Expert programmer in at least one language, with experience working in production environments. We have a strong preference for R, python and Java
- Extensive experience with data modeling for analytical applications
- Strong in Unix shell/Perl scripting
Requirements:
- Master's or higher degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 5 + years' experience in managing team with at least 3~4 bioinformatics programmers
- Extensive experience with data modeling for analytical applications
- Strong in Unix shell/Perl scripting
