Software Engineer (New Grad) | Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Software Engineer, New Grad to contribute to the development of fullstack systems and product features. The role involves building backend services, developing user-facing interfaces, and collaborating with product and design teams to deliver features.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of fullstack systems and product features
• Build backend services and APIs with clean, maintainable code
• Develop user-facing interfaces and improve product functionality
• Support database design and data modeling for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and engineering improvements
• Debug issues and help maintain reliable production systems

Requirements:

• Recent graduate in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Familiarity with React and frontend development concepts
• Familiarity with Node.js and backend development
• Understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL and data modeling basics
• Knowledge of APIs and system communication principles
• Strong willingness to learn with attention to detail
