Job DescriptionInnovative Medicine Transcend is a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain foundational capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ecosystem of 7 major J&J IM ERP systems, standardizing our core business processes and products [across Plan, Source, Logistics, Make, Quality, Order Management, Supply Chain Finance and Data], and enabling our integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance.

Role Summary
The role will be accountable for working with a team of functional experts in driving the process and capability integration between SC functions to ensure that solutions support end to end business processes, across Design, Build, Test and Go-Live.
The leader will own the end-to-end functional integration for a specific Deployment Release as well as strive to enable and standardize core business capabilities, products, and functional integration points to meet critical business process needs across the functional areas and to maximize the adherence to Global Design Template. This will be enabled by partnering across the key stakeholder groups to gain a deep understanding of as-is business needs/capabilities, bench-marking, continuous improvement, consistent process documentation, and product deployment through the various programs. This individual must leverage a refined, multi-functional tool-set of business expertise, technical knowledge, and digital acumen to effectively interact with a breadth of value stream leads, business stakeholders and global template owners. The successful candidate must be able to engage and operate with program teams at an execution level, as well as with senior leadership at a strategic level.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
· Lead and coordinate Solution Confirmation phase for a given Release, ensuring clear functional scope definition, workshops structure, “big ticket” design items resolution.
· Ensure key business processes and capabilities are designed, documented, and deployed in an integrated and effective manner within Release timelines and scope.
· Responsible for leading the program team in mapping end-to-end business processes/needs in order to solicit the right solutions, all the while ensuring that the solutions which are designed work in a well-integrated way with the other functions.
· Partner with global team of Supply Chain, Order to Cash and Finance experts in design, development, maintenance and improvement of global business processes and integration points.
· In collaboration with senior leaders, ensure design aligns strategies and Roadmaps.
· Ensure that program design artifacts (taxonomy, process flows, process scenarios, key design decisions, user requirements) are implemented and managed by functional Pillars consistently with program methodology, including relevant templates, tools, methodology, controls, and cadence.
· Based on release scope, architect the best test strategy and coordinate the functional teams during test preparation phase. Partner with Release Deployment leadership to coordinate test phase execution.
· Partner with data standards team to ensure data standards meet business capability needs.
· Support business adoption team to ensure change management, business readiness, site readiness, and training are delivered to meet business needs.
· Develop and deliver program presentations for senior-level J&J IM stakeholders to advise on historical and future program status.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s / University, MBA, or equivalent degree is required
Certifications such as PMP / FPX, APICS, and/or Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence are helpful
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
Demonstrated progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or large transformation programs
Solid experience in business process design, engineering, or optimization experience
Hands-on project delivery experience, including demonstrated ability to handle project timelines and milestones in complex business environments
Experience working in a complex, global system environment and experience with large-scale SAP S/4HANA projects
Strong customer-centric focus (internal & external), including development and management of partners and ability to engage and build relationships with senior business stakeholders
Ability to effectively lead and govern cross-functional decision-making bodies
Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired result
Preferred:
Experience designing, developing, implementing, and leading operational technological processes within a global organization
Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or other regulated industry experience
People management and development experience (direct or indirect reports)
Other:
Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally
May require up to 25% to 35% domestic and international travel, depending on business needs and primary work location
