Description
SuperCom, a global leader in advanced tracking, identification, and security solutions, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Engineering & Planning Manager to join our team.
This role is responsible for leading manufacturing engineering and production planning activities, ensuring production continuity, accurate planning, and efficient execution, while supporting the transition of products from development to manufacturing and strengthening engineering processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Engineering
- Establish and maintain accurate product structures (BOMs) and configuration management
- Provide engineering support and mechanical approvals for components and products
- Manage product updates, engineering changes (ECOs), and device configurations
- Lead transfer from R&D to production (NPI)
- Monitor component lifecycle and lead obsolescence and replacement processes
- Define testing procedures and quality inspection criteria for production
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements
- Perform and document lab testing required for product validation and recertification
- Support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and engineering methodologies
- Participate in root cause analysis for production failures, RMAs, and supplier-related issues
Production Planning & Resource Management
- Build and manage production plans (daily, weekly, monthly) based on forecasts, customer orders, and inventory
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with Procurement, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Sales
- Monitor raw material consumption, finished goods inventory, and report deviations
- Support production scheduling and ensure material readiness and production continuity
- Track and monitor production performance and adherence to plans
- Support capacity planning and resource alignment according to production needs (labor, materials, machines)
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of planning and production data in the Priority ERP system
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and production planning
- Experience working with production processes and manufacturing environments
- Hands-on experience with Priority ERP system - Must
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and strong system-level thinking
- Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Excellent English- written and spoken
