About this role
PURVIEW is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes and Platform Operations. The role involves taking ownership of production systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting infrastructure deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Support and execute infrastructure deployments
- Troubleshoot production issues to root cause
- Work on Kubernetes-based platforms at scale
- Maintain clear documentation of incidents & resolutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability
Requirements:
- Kubernetes (K8s): Architecture, deployments, CRDs, kubectl
- Linux: Strong system administration & troubleshooting
- Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, routing fundamentals (BGP/OSPF is a plus)
- Service Mesh: Istio / Envoy (basic understanding)
- Security / PKI: SSL, certificates, OpenSSL
- Scripting: Bash or Python
- Strong ownership mindset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Clear communication & documentation
- Candidates must be able to travel without restrictions and have valid work authorization
- Prometheus, Grafana, Loki
- Ansible / automation tools
- Observability & monitoring experience
